I also wondered about the “elf luck” section you mentioned, and knowing gazemaize, I was certain that there is actually a correct answer to what Fenn was thinking but not saying. And, going back to reread it, I did have a revelation. It is actually banally simple, childish, very Fenn and quite gazemaize.
