I knew I had to do something special for the flashback. Simply adding an echo wasn\u2019t enough. I\u2019d known for quite some time that I was going to use the background music from Max Payne\u2019s dream sequence, as that\u2019s the best \u201csomeone is breaking into my home and murdering my wife and infant son\u201d scene that I can remember, ever.
