It is mentioned here, that Mr. Verres was born with zero magic DNAs, but this cannot be true. He must have at least one magic DNA to give to Harry, correct?
Mr. Verres isn’t biologically related to Harry, he adopted him with Petunia after Harry’s biological parents (Lily and James) were killed. So he could have zero magic DNA. :)
