Personally speaking, the helicopter worked for me, because I didn’t expect a huge payoff, like, oh no, dramatic escape, quick remember how to fly a helicopter and probably die! It’s just, Joon gets to fly a helicopter, that’s all he wanted. It doesn’t have to be impactful. It’s just this little thoughtful bit of loop-closing.
I hadn’t understood this on my first playthrough but the comments clued me in. Joon could destroy FS with the vorpal blade because FS was the master of the original blade, but not the master of the copy. That’s why the cppying entad mattered.
Also, yes, “You’re just in the way” best pre-mortem oneliner of the story. Joon has finally mastered the skill.
