  1. I think all the focus on how Azkaban’s prisoners are being victimized and need to be removed from the prison (Or have all the dementors killed) isn’t supposed to mean nobody cares that some slim quantity of them are monsters who need to be permanently quarantined away from other people.

It’s just that who they are and what to do with them once they’re out of Azkaban is all secondary. These are the things that Harry would plan out with Dumbledore if he had already convinced him to break Azkaban.

    • I’m starting to think “Vance” was someone who found a way to gain a fuckload of awesome powers then died and was dismembered so now all their body parts are incredible magic items that have been scattered around the world.

Maybe somebody out there has the right breast of Vance.

  2. Vance is an allusion to the father of Vancian magic systems, who invented the Eye Of Vecna and the Hand of Vecna, two really powerful items in DnD. Also you MUST google “Head of Vecna” for the best Masterplan of all time.

Brian got it with his “Daddy” joke. The Quirrel-Harry relationship is the only one that ISN’T unhealthy. Children aren’t designed to be much smarter than their parents. He can’t look up to Michael and Petunia like children are supposed to. Quirrel was the very first person, who Harry could look up to like a father, his very first parental role model.

He killed his father James, but in the end,

    He Was His Father.

    Nooooooooo!
