Most people with psychosis (from Huntington’s or other factors) are not at all violent so Lex’s assumption that Superman having psychosis is an automatic failure mode is questionable.
I’m not judging the author or this story, I just want to set the record straight because real people with phsychosis face a lot of problems as a result of others being afraid of them.
